Set of 3 Notes - 500 Billion, 50 Billion & 5 Billion, Yugoslavia
Set of 3 banknotes of former Yugoslavia of 500 Billion Dinar, 50 Billion Dinar and 5 Billion Dinar.
These notes were printed in 1993 - when Yugoslavia faced hyperinflation - at the end of the Cold War. The economic crisis resulted in a civil war, ultimately causing the destruction of the country into many smaller republics.
500 Billion or 500,000,000,000 -5 followed by 11 zeros, is the largest number of zeros to be printed on a banknote, and is the highest denomination to be printed in any European country since the end of the Second World War.
These notes were printed over 25-years ago, and are becoming increasingly rare.
