1/2 Rupee, Bundi, Victoria & George V
Set of 2 silver half rupee coins of the Princely State of Bundi, in the name of Queen Victoria and King George V. Like many other princely states, coins of Bundi carried the name of the local ruler on one side and the British monarch on the other. The two coins were minted from 1888-1898 AD and 1912-1927 AD respectively. Bundi was one of the many Rajput princely states based in present day Rajasthan, and eventually merged into the Indian Union in 1949 AD.
