1 Dong banknote of South Vietnam, a state that existed from 1949 to 1975, printed in 1955. The obverse carries an image of the Temple dedicated to the Hung kings - a dynasty that ruled Vietnam from 2879 BC to 258 BC. The note is emerald green and dark pink in color. The watermark window to the left features the head of a tiger. The reverse features the entrance to the Vietnam museum of natural history.
