3 Peso banknote of Cuba featuring the communist revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara (1928-67). Guevara was born in Argentina and originally trained to be a doctor. He joined Cuban revolutionaries and played a role in the overthrow of the Batista regime (1952-59). He played a significant role in Cuba in the years immediately after the revolution. The obverse of the note features his famous portrait, while the reverse shows him working in a sugarcane field. This is an odd denomination.
