1000 Yen banknote of Japan, printed in 2024. 

The obverse features the bust of Japanese physician and bacteriologist Kitasato Shibasaburo to the right. The watermark window is at the center. There is also a hologram at the bottom left of the note. The hologram and the watermark feature an image of Shibasaburo. The reverse features a reproduction of the "The Great Wave of Kangawa" - a woodblock print from the series "Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji".
