2 Rupees, RN Malhotra, Satellite

Two Rupee Indian banknote, with the signature of RN Malhotra, who served as the RBI governor from December 1985-90, on the obverse and a drawing of the Aryabhatta satellite on the obverse. These were the last two rupee notes to be printed - the denomination was discontinued after 1995.

Notes are in crisp condition with no tears. The paper is intact and the full pattern is visible clearly. Notes will have staple damage - as the bundles were secured with staples.
