25 pfennig banknote issued by the town of Uslar, a municipality in Central Germany. The note features an image of the half-timbered Rathaus (town hall) of Uslar, a well known landmark. This note mentions that it is an emergency voucher, with validity of 3 months. These notes are 'notgeld' or emergency money, which became common in Germany and Austria after World War I, when coins went out of circulation (as the metal was worth more than face value), and paper money became worthless.
