Silver one shilling coin of United Kingdom minted during the reign of George V. This is the fourth variation of the shilling during George V's reign. The obverse has a portrait of the king while the reverse has a crowned lion standing atop a crown. The design on the reverse was changed in 1927 to this new design. These coins are 50% silver. Shilling was 1/20 of a pound and was equal to 12 pence.
