Set of 3 silver coins, 1 Rupee, 1/2 Rupee & 1/4 Rupee of the Indian Princely State of Pratapgarh, minted during the reign of Duleep Singh, in 1236 AH (Islamic Calendar), corresponding to 1821 AD. The kingdom of Pratapgarh - occupying the present day district of Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, was established in the 15th century, by the younger brother of Rana Kumbha of Chittorgarh. The state was dissolved in 1949 AD, when it merged into the Indian Union.
