Copper-nickel commemorative coin issued on the 100th anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. This was the second time a five rupee coin was issued in India, and before definitive 5 rupee coins were issued. The obverse has an image of Mr. Nehru, while the reverse carries the Ashok pillar and the coin value.
