Silver half rupee coins of the Princely State of Indore, minted in the name of Mughal emperor Shah Alam II from AH 1227-1296 (1812-1879 AD). The obverse of the coin has the well known sun-face featured on coins of Indore. These coins were minted at the Malharnagar mint. 

Indore was one of the key states of the Maratha confederacy and became a British protectorate in the early 1800s. 

The half rupee is rarer compared to the rupee - shown together in picture 4 for comparison.
