Silver 1 kori coin of the Kingdom of Kutch, minted in the name of Shri Tamachiji, who ruled from 1654-1665 AD. The front of the coin carries the name of the ruler in Devnagari script. The trishul (trident) can be seen on the front of the coin, along with the frozen year 978 AH (Islamic calendar). The silver kori was the currency of Kutch from 1586 AD, when the kingdom was established, to 1948, when it merged into the Indian Union.
