Copper 2 Dokdo (1/4 kori) coin of the Nawanagar Princely State - one of the smaller princely states based in present day Gujarat. The rulers of Nawanagar were called Jam saheb, the most famous of whom was Ranjitsinh ji, the cricketer. This coin was struck in Vikram Samvat 1943 - or 1886 AD. The obverse carries the name - Shree Jam Vibhaji, on the edge and a katar (dagger) in the middle. The reverse carries the value of the coin and the date in Vikram Samvat.
