1 Rupee, Rajiv Gandhi, 1990

1 Rupee Copper-Nickel coin of India, minted in 1991 to commemorate Rajiv Gandhi. The reverse carries a picture of Rajiv Gandhi, while the obverse has India's emblem and the denomination of the coin. These coins were minted in Hyderabad, the start sign of the Hyderabad mint can be seen on the reverse. Hyderabad coins are scarce compared to coins from the Bombay mint.
