1/12 Anna, Victoria Empress, Various Years
1/12 Anna copper coins (1/3 of a Paisa, 1/192 of a Rupee) in the name of Victoria Empress (1877-1901). The obverse has a crowned bust of Empress Victoria in a regal robe while the reverse has the denomination and the year surrounded by a floral pattern. These were the smallest denominations coins to be circulated during the British Era of uniform coinage (1835-1947).
These coins were minted in the Bombay and Calcutta mints.
