1 Anna, Jaipur, 1944 AD
Bronze 1 Anna coin of the Princely State of Jaipur. The obverse of the coin carries the image of Man Singh II. The symbol of Jaipur, a 'jhar' or a twig with leaves, is visible under the bust, and also features prominently on the reverse. The reverse also carries the date as well as the denomination (1 anna = 1/16 rupee) in Hindi and Persian.
These coins are scarce compared to similar denomination coins of British India.
