1 Kori, Kutch, Tamachiji (1654-1665 AD)
Silver 1 Kori of Kutch, minted in the name of Tamachiji, who ruled the kingdom from 1654-1665 AD. The front of the coin has the name of Tamachiji in Hindi, along with a Trishul (Trident). The reverse carries the name of Muzaffar Shah III, the ruler of Gujarat, and the frozen date 978 AH (Islamic calendar). These coins are almost 350 years old!
