1 Peso banknote of Cuba, printed in 2017. The obverse features a portrait of Jose Marti, a Cuban philosopher. The reverse features Fidel Castro, the Cuban leader/dictator, leading a victory parade as he enters Havana in 1959.  The Cuban Revolution transformed the country from a US backed dictatorship to a socialist state, which it remains to date.
