10 Rupees, Nepal, King Birendra, 1985-90

10 Rupee banknote of Nepal, issued during the reign of King Birendra (1972-2001). The obverse has a portrait of King Birendra in a military uniform to the left, a statue of Lord Changunarayan (a form of Vishnu) in the middle, and the watermark window to the right. These notes are signed by Ganesh Bahadur Thapa - governor of the Nepal Rashtra Bank from 1985-90. The reverse features a pair of black bucks in the center, and the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Nepal on the right.
