100 Dong, South Vietnam, 1966

100 Dong Banknote of South Vietnam - a country in Indo-China that existed from 1955-1975. South Vietnam was a part of the Western Bloc, and was subject to a popular insurgency backed by the communist North Vietnam. Despite French and later, American backing, South Vietnam was overrun by communist forces in 1975, marking the end of the country. This banknote features a domed building on the front, along with a dragon motif. The reverse features a hydropower plant, including a dam and a reservoir. 

This is an uncommon note, of a country that no longer exists.
