100 Peso banknote of Bolivia, featuring a portrait of Simon Bolivar, the 19th-century South American revolutionary. He led to the independence of modern-day Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Panama and Bolivia from the Spanish Empire in the early 1800s. Simon Bolivar is one of the most widely featured personalities on banknotes -  including those of Bolivia, Venezuela and Venezuela. The obverse of the note carries its denomination, and a portrait of Simon Bolivar. The reverse has the Scene of declaration of the Bolivian Republic.
