Five rupee banknote of India, printed by the Reserve Bank of India in 1943, carrying the portrait of George VI on the obverse, along with the signature of CD Deshmukh - the first Indian governor of the RBI. The watermark window is to the left and has an image of King George as the watermark. The reverse carries the denomination in eight Indian languages.
